Steve Austin, Astronaut. A man barely alive...Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first bionic man. Steve Austin will be that man. Better than he was before, stronger, faster...

I guess the Brady Bunch is too much singing?
I introduced Julia to The Brady Bunch, today. It was the one where Mike installs a pay phone in the house, because the kids are always tying up the phone. She thought it was hysterical. When it was over, she promptly dug out a handful of dolls, named them all for the Brady family, and played Brady Bunch for about an hour.
Natter, thread. A thread barely alive...Buffistas, we can rebuild it. We have the technology. We have the capability to make the world's first bionic thread. Natter will be that thread. Better than it was before, stronger, faster...
Please god, not faster.
I'm snerking to myself because I cannot even think the intro to Forever Knight without hearing "From his endless ... FOREVER KNIGHT." in that breathy, ASSCAP voice. Just like "He is... THE HIGHLANDER."
Of course, now all I'm hearing is Princes of the Universe.
Edited to remove extra words what don't belong.
Another intro:
"In 1953, Earth experienced a War of the Worlds. Common bacteria stopped the aliens, but it didn't kill them. Instead, the aliens lapsed into a state of deep hibernation. Now the aliens have been resurrected, more terrifying than before. In 1953, aliens started taking over the world. Today, they're taking over our bodies!"
You get this from Sarah Michelle Gellar, Eliza Dushku, Michelle Trachtenberg, Alyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon.
Which is a really good set until you scroll to the last five. But when you shrink it, it neatens up nicely.
Throwing three or four martial arts at it worked well too, but names of Mutant Enemy writers makes it choke, as do "real" names of superheroes.
