I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I'm excited, and a little scared. It's a bit of a financial risk at this point, but one I think I'll be glad I made. If I didn't have family in the area, I would have been a bit more hesitant.

The only other thing I'll say at this point is that like the Baltimore house, this one is also ideally set up for house guests. Hint, hint...

No hints needed! I'm sure you'll be inundated with Buffistas.

Okay. Time to go to do that work thing.

I love built in bookcases and shelves. It sounds so nice. Can't wait to see the pics.

Hey Kristin! you're in my mind (have I told you that recently). I have so much to ask but not enough time to articulate it now. Will you be around tomorrow evening?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Pretty Stephanie! And the baby's room looks lovely.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Noni/Stephanie, you look fabulous! And is that your house? It's very lovely.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Stephanie is so cutely pregnant!

Kat, how's tricks?

I am looking forward to today. Franny has daycare, and I don't have to teach. I plan on coming back home and trying to squeeze in some grading between the napping and the noshing and the maybe even writing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cute, Stephanie.

I've just realised that I have to have all my stuff out of the old place by the 23rd. I don't know why I thought I had another weekend. So my laissez faire attitude towards dismantling has got to go.

Sadly, my evenings and weekend are just about packed solid with prior commitments. I'm having a hard time finding one box of stuff (Kitchen Aid mixer!) but haven't had the time and energy at the same time to open what's left. I have a ton of job stuff happening, plus friend stuff I've been sliding on.

Which of course means I wake up at 4 in the morning. Because that solves things, doesn't it?

Gnargh.

I wondered why you were posting so early this morning. Moving is such a pain.

Stephanie is so cutely pregnant!

Thanks, everyone. Compliments are much appreciated. Yes, that's the baby's room - all she needs is some furniture now. I had a few people suggest that the border with the ocean stuff wasn't very girly, but I love it and I like the way it turned out.
