(can you believe I was the only person in a meeting of 8 literate, bookish, educated people who knew who Seymour Hersch is?)
Let me rephrase. In the context of discussing the source and possible permissioned use of Abu Ghraib prison photos, can you believe...? (Hersh is the guy who broke that story in the New Yorker, and on 60 minutes.)
Well, Capra III isn't like a mogul or anything. But I still wouldn't put it past him being from Riverdale, the fancy part of the Bronx, but still using "Bronx public school" as code for "street."

Compared to most TV actors? He's doing okay.
I just meant it's not like IV is Sofia Coppolla in Godfather III with regard to the "being discovered" thing.
Very true.
I think it's funny that he doesn't have to have the number because he goes by Francis instead of Frank.
The boys were all surprisingly charming. And way more relaxed than Kristen Bell, who seemed nervous and didn't make a lot of eye contact with the crowd, but got more relaxed later. The boys were all smiley and smirking and casual. Percy Daggs was wearing clothes three sizes too big, but you know kids these days. Enrico was funny and giggled alot at the kids. Teddy Dunn's favorite show is Real Time With Bill Maher. Francis watches Animal Planet. Kristen says Jason Dohring is a well-trained actor and sometimes comes to the set as Logan. As they were all relating their various high school experiences to their roles on the show, Rob Thomas jokingly said Jason really is a jackass.
Riverdale, the fancy part of the Bronx,
I just heard Riverdale recently and now I can't remember if it was in the ep they showed or in the Q&A or what, but yeah, that sounds likely.
