Really, I'm just cheesy. Next example: So, I was watching VH-1's "I Married Uncle Kracker" (see, I told you I was cheesy), and it cracked me up the way his wife talked about Bob -- "Oh yeah, he was extra busy then, working on his record and Bob's record..." I totally got a kid that age in trouble with his mom at my school's open house. We were making faces at each other, and he got busted! I felt bad.

I'm amazed you're awake at all.
Well, unless Annabel sleeps all day, I can't. And unless I'm sick with something worse than my current cold (because of course I'm coming down with Annabel's cold!) or much more sleep deprived than I am now, I have trouble sleeping in much past 9:00 or 10:00, napping, or falling asleep before 10:00 at night. It's like my body is programmed for wakefulness in that 12-hour window no matter what happened the night before.

No, Canal Villere is no more. one of them is still an empty building, it's very sad.
My roommate and I shopped regularly at the one at Carrollton and Claiborne senior year.
Schwegmann's is also gone (which reminds me, was there a Schwegmann's shout out on the Simpsons Sunday or was that my imagination?).
I remember hearing that, too. Don't remember the context, though.
