'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Tiimelies! The all-day headache that waxed and waned on me yesterday has mysteriously vanished, and my car melted out of the block of ice it was encased in, too. Alas, I've got a full work-week ahead of me, but aside from that, life is looking up!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Timelies!

It's all sunny and nice here. Yestday it was 87, but it's gonna be cool (upper 60s) the whole time we're here.

Have kolaches been discussed? Because they are a nummy breakfast treat.

I don't even know what kolaches are, so I'll have to take their breakfastly numminess on faith. I did have a kick-ass English muffin, though, and used up my last packet of Kashi Instant Oatmeal. There will be grocery shopping in my near-future....

Kolaches are sorta like donuts, with egg, meat and/or cheese (or a variety of other things) as filling. They might be a Texas thing.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Kolachen are Czech pastries made with yeast, usually with fruit fillings such as prune and apricot. My Czech great-grandmother made them. The Texas version appears to have strayed considerably from the original.

I am sitting in the conference room, waiting for class to begin.

I need a nap.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

As did my Czech grandmother. They are nummy.

Ooh, my class is being paid for by Microsoft.

I don't know why.
