I guess I was confused as to why the conversation turned suddenly to the history of wedding dresses, especially since it seemed to begin with a discussion of how much fun they are to shop for.

Oh, and on to another topic entirely: so my family came by this weekend and finally started helping with the clean up of the house. They cleaned all the junk out of the garage. I am exhausted, but it was so damn worth it.

Hey, I loved Abby's "white is for the first wedding" thing. I love the idea of being a powerful enough influence that you can try to start a new rule of etiquette.
