Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Sorry for making you look crazy, Maria.

's OK. I do that very well all on my own most of the time.

I hope the phlegm demons vacate your chest tout suite. Breathing when it feels like you've an anvil on your chest is not fun. At all. (So says a chronic bronchitis sufferer.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

It goes overcast in October and doesn't clear up until May. It's also very redneck and very conservative.

How does this differ from Cincinnatti? (Apologies to Teppy, et al.)

All you moving people are making me want to look at apartments. Stop that.

Think more of a cow-town.

Are you ready to be strong?

Hey, you guys, can I wear my (platinum) engagement ring in salt water? I'm gonna do lots of ocean swimming this week.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I woke up with a sinus headache. I'm consoling myself with slowly paging through the Levenger's catalog and eating hot Kashi Heart to Heart Instant Oatmeal "Raisin Spice" which is still the most delicious oatmeal ever.

Trust my rage

Rio, you are going to Costa Rica, right? I don't know about the ocean, but if I were going, I would think very hard about wearing such a pretty ring.

Actually, I've never been to Costa Rica and everyone says it is the safest of the Central American countries, but a shiny ring could make you stand out to criminals and it will certianly be noticed by anyone you try to buy anything from. I always leave my engagement ring home when DH and I go to Central America.

Note to self: buy decoy engagement ring after getting engaged

Further note to self: find someone to get engaged to.

What is even happening?

Rio, when dh and I were on our honeymoon, another couple lost their ring (I think it was the groom's, but I can't remember) in the water. It was so sad. If you have somewhere safe to leave your ring while you travel, I think maybe you should.

Gronklies.

Trust my rage

DH lost his wedding ring in the ocean 4 months after we got married. He's managed to keep the second one a bit longer, but he never wears it when diving.

ION, Toby (my dog) slept just fine all night, which was a relief because I was exhausted yesterday.
