Mal: Cut it out. Job's not done until we're back on Serenity. Zoe: Sorry, sir. Didn't mean to enjoy the moment.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I know about you and your delicate sensibilities. I don't want to startle you.

So here's the deal (cross your fingers): It's about the size of my apartment now, which I understand is big for one bedroom. Anyway. It has curtains, and a sheer screen on each window -- there are sliding doors to the bedroom (onto a balcony) and the living room (out onto the corridor). Sort of an L-shape, so there's a perfect place to put the small table. The kitchen is a bit bigger than the one I have now, with better counter space (granite counters to boot), all new appliances, and more cupboards.

The bathroom ROCKS. Huge sink, textured brown tile -- separate shower and bathtub. The bedroom's about the size of the one I have now, with a walk-in closet.

Quiet neighbourhood, just east of Westwood, south of Santa Monica.

Lost is making me ill, unrelatedly.

The dark one. It'd be perfect if it were right here, and had a gas range. Oh, and cheaper. Otherwise, it's very very nice.

Yay! Most importantly, how's the cable look?

The listing has expired, Lee. The day after she linked to it, so it was very lucky she saw it then.

Is this she me? Because if so, very cool. I'm honestly thrilled that my procrastination techniques helped someone.

Hi Dawn! When's the party on your new boat?

I'm sad about the tiger, too.

ETA: And we use five digit dialing within my campus, and that is currently, for those people who are hoping campuses still do that. For university housing, it's 4xxxx, for an office, it's 0xxxx.

So you liked it, huh ita?

Westwood! YAY! Does it have parking?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sounds nice, ita.

Alibelle, I think you need to start looking for me now.

Why is Lost making you ill, ita?

I told the guy precisely why I was leaving this place, and looked at him meaningfully. They better not fuck with me.

It was you, Ali! Let's just hope the application is accepted.

It has a carport -- I'll miss the secured parking, but -- I'll live.

I miss my neighbourhood already -- but even if I don't get this place, I need to say farewell to it anyway, barring a huge coinkydink.

I really really despise Shannon/Sayid. It makes me like Sayid so much less.

As for Alias -- that's such a marvellous voice. I'm all psyched.

Which reminds me -- on this week's Charmed, whyfor did they have to give such a nasty moustache to poor David Anders?

Start? Humph.

I'll cross my fingers! Like, for reals. I really hope it works out. And that you make me cupcakes. Kidding. Mostly.

I love my dance class. I should have dance class every night. Also, I got to dance with the teacher for the entire time, and that is totally awesome. This is going to turn into a very expensive hobby, I can already tell, because I refuse to give it up.

Good point. Keep looking for me.

ita, I can see that, though I don't depise Sayid/Shannon though Sayid/Kate would have been much better.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Anyone watching the Project Runway finale or am I alone in the sea of Lost fans?

I'm not sure why I'm reacting to it so negatively. I can't think of another pairing which drove me this bugfuck. I like the scenes less, the characters less, and the show less for it. It's kinda weird.
