What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

Are you ready to be strong?

What's worse is I have to work on your BIRTHDAY.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Get well, RIO. You still are the prettiest and have the shiniest ring.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Happy Birthday, tommyrot!

sleeping in seemed like a much better idea than coming to work, but I made the "grown-up" decision and showed up.

Three day weekends (whether by holiday or calling in "sick") are great. Slightly longer than a normal weekend so you can get more done at home but not too long that you get sick of it.

Our wings are not tired.

Ah poor pretty Rio. You shouldn't have to work.

Wow, they hauled her ass to jail for that.

DH was hauled in for suspended license a few years back. It was very unpleasant. While he was in the holding tank the cop actually called his girlfriend to tell her what a big guy he just arrested. It was icky.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

It's snowing here. Again.

Poor, pretty Rio.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy Birthday, tommyrot!

Sorry you're sick, RIO.

I'm suffering from a severe case of short-timer's syndrome. This wouldn't be so bad if I actually, you know, had a new job to go to. As it is, I just feel like I'm being slack.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What's worse is I have to work on your BIRTHDAY.

Yes. No one should have to work on my birthday. That way, we can all get together and have cake.

I actually have cake with me now. It's pound cake - does that count?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Pound cake counts.

I'm at work, but I'm not exactly working. My boss is on vacation. Which is kinda like taking tommyrot day off.
