I went to Au Bon Pain for dinner tonight, and had a "coco loco" (their version of chantico). it was a poor second. that is all.
Aside from the fact that he seems on his bio to have gotten younger by several years, he is a great guy.
Funny how that happens. We watched with interest as Dinah Shore kept revising her age. She went to high school with my uncle, but by the time she died, she was claiming to be about 12 years younger than he was. She did it in one- or two-year increments, bio by bio.
When did Yoda start smoking crack?
I read this line before looking at the picture, and then when I did, I could easily see the weird creature depicted saying something like "A dollar you will give me, bitch."
Hey Teppy, you still around?
Expensive single malt on my expensive monitor, you have caused me to spray.
eta: I would do Keri Russell ( [link] ). It is a weakness.
Go ahead, revile me.
further edited: Uh, oh. Post 5785 is another one of those eddies bypassed by external time, where events are observable outside the bubble, but nothing ever changes within.
We are locked here, in the 5785 dimension, a glass of Bruichladdich 18 halfway to lip, with a picture of Keri Russell in the other browser, while the outside world progresses in ways that bemuse us.
yet more:
Time has ceased its progression. Nilly will be able to tell us what mystical properties the numbers 5785 have that cause them to bring about a cessation of duration. Unfortunately, Nilly is outside the 5785 dimension, and we will never know the explanation.
This is not the greater tragedy here in the 5785 dimension. There is that glass of single malt, frozen halfway to the lip.
eep. Leland Palmer is the CA governor on WW.
Aw, Gus. Time progresses, 5786 happens.
Leland Palmer is the CA governor on WW.
I am so relentlessly unhip. None of that made English to me.
t goes off to google Leland Palmer
later: t comes back Ray Wise?!
Yes. It wasn't so much hip as Twin Peaks geeky.
Programming burned me out. I no longer speak human languages.
Twin Peaks is a human language, approximately.
