Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

Now tagless for your comfort.

He knew about it, Matt. He just hasn't commented on it until now.

He needs the publicity considering he's had another high profile film get blown due to problems he's caused. He injured his shoulder in time to ruin the shooting schedule for Flora Plum and now Eucalyptus is bust because he had problems with the script.

I think he's pretty talented but he's a huge pain in the ass.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I have figured out The Complicated Thing and taken care of it.

I've been grinding away at the Boring Scut Work, having finished all the timesheet entry, and alphabetizing all the timesheets (they have yet to file themselves, however). Still need to finish the applicant tracking entry, but am halfway through that. Still need to make files. Still need to do tedious expense forms. The Complex Thinkative, however, can wait until early next week when I'll have more brain.

Mostly I'm glad I took care of The Complicated Thing.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have girl scout cookies. I also have no complicated thing to worry about this week.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

There was nothing in the mail for me when I got home. I was hoping for a DVD. sigh. I'll just have to console myself with Wonderfalls.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I also have no complicated thing to worry about this week.

I did. And then I got the last changes and the go-ahead to send it out "as soon as possible" last night, which I pulled out all the stops to do.

And then came in to a 3 a.m. voicemail saying the CEO "lost" a page of edits, which would be faxed to me presently.

I'm getting the pig!

I've been hoping for cookies in the mail, but no cookies yet.

Maybe Lee will save some of her cookies to share with me next week.

What is even happening?

I have a Girl Scout.

I can't eat cookies, yet.

It's simple, but it feels complicated.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I managed to snag my co-worker who's my usual GS cookie dealer and see if she had any extra boxes on hand, since I missed the order form last month. She put in a call, and said that she should be bringing them in either tomorrow or Friday. Yay! Now, let's see if I can get the Thin Mints into the freezer and make them last past this weekend...

I've tried that. And learned that I really like frozen Thin Mints.
