Thanks Kat!

There's better tiger hunt pictures here. Chapparal is usually tough brushy undergrowth, sometimes described as too short to go under and too tall to climb over. But if you are tiger-height, and also tiger-strong, it's just right.
Dude, six-inch pawprints, in the playground. So cool.
"It's a miracle of nature! And they killed it!"
Until it eats your head.
It's like those fuckos who refuse to spay and neuter so that their kids can witness the miracle of birth.
I worked with a woman who ran a shelter who was overwhelmed during kitten season and had to recommend euthanasia to just such a person. She told her, "Now your kids can witness the miracle of death, and learn from your irresponsibility."
Speaking as a parent? Aiieeeeee! [to the paw print.]
The decision to kill rather than tranq the tiger was probably 65% logistical. After it was down, F&G would have to figure out what to do with it. LA Zoo probably wouldn't take it (for a dozen reasons - mostly disease related). Don't know if the Wildlife Way Station is still around or if it has room (when last I heard the F&G had a tenuous relationship with them) and if it was an older animal, tranq and transport has bigger implications getting the doseage correct and cage control. (/useless wildlife management degree) I'm still bummed they did it though.
Hi Dawn!
Dawn speaks for me. I get why they did it, but it's still sad.
Oh look, BM on my TV. And HE is WET!
Hey you! Congrats on your new job! Boo that you're moving though just when we move closer to you.
Hey Dawn! That's awesome that you have a wildlife management degree - I'm usually just talking out my ass about such matters!
And he got a haircut and is shorter than Ellen. The new hair cut is better.
