Re Rob "lying".... maybe I'm just being over-pedantic, but I didn't think he was lying per se (unless I missed something, which is possible).
He paid the guard not to tell the other teams about the express bus, and when the other teams caught him and confronted him about it, he lied to them, and then got indignant about being accused of lying.
I think that's the reason I don't like him, Jessica. Not the lie, or even the denying the lie, but the getting pissy about being accused of it.
He's playing well, certainly, but I still think he's being an ass.
Not watching TAR, but that sounds a bit like flavors of Survivor tactics.
The getting pissy is definitely a Survivor tactic -- the more offended you act, the more it looks like you might actually be telling the truth, and the more people you can get to trust you.
It won't help him as much in TAR, I think.
Our JHT was originally notable for the flaw in its big glass windows, which had them shattering whenever a high wind blows. And it blew a whole lot. So for a while in the 70s, it was a 60 story plywood-sided skyscraper. Such fun!
I was under the impression that this problem has not been 100% corrected. Anyway, one day 2 years ago, when the wind gusted up to 40 mph, someone put up Caution tape all around the building and they closed the sidewalks.
I would say this is an urban legend, but I thought the whole "UMASS built a library without accounting for the weight of the books" thing was a myth. Then, someone showed me that the fences around the building and the basement entrance are, in fact, designed to make 100% sure that no bricks pop out of the facade and brain lawsuit-happy college students.
the chocolate drink sounds yuck to me, as does drinking something salty. salt edged margs work because of the tangy sweetness.
gatorade is the yuck.
salty food on the other hand. mmmm mmm goodness.
blue flavor = coconut, and is the yum. thus says my sno-cone knowledge.
blue flavor = coconut
You've seen coconuts, right? And blueberries, for instance?
But... but... penguins and polar bears live on different ends of the planet!
And now you know why .
blue flavor is also sometimes vanilla, from my shave ice experiences.
