Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My roommate got married last night.

Yay! Congrats to her. I'm very impressed you are up and teaching today.

Morning! I may be perky myself, since it is so bright and sunshiny out, and I don't have to go outside for a while yet.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I don't know that I do perky. And if I do, be suspicious.

I know I don't do perky. If you see perky from me, suspect large pods from outer space.

Up with the sun

On Gilmore Girls, I have no opinion except that I liked the Quentin Tarantino-themed party. Oh, and Logan is still hot.

On TAR, I still like the mother/son team, though I get why people don't. Agree that Brian (or was it Greg? I should start just calling them Grian, 'cause I'll never be able to tell them apart) had a much better approach to the shoeshine task than Joyce did). The brothers are an entertaining team, even if they don't seem especially skilled. The gay couple and the older couple are both starting to annoy me. And without having seen Survivor, I do like Rob and Amber. They seem to work really well together, and I respect that. And I was happy to see the Barbie twins go.

I also liked that both of the tasks were real challenges, and that the chef was very specific about the size of fish needed. I'm not clear on why everybody seemed to be running low on money -- maybe the nonstop train was more expensive?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Congratulations to Nilly's roomate; I hope you can catch up on your sleep soon, Nilly.

well, I thought telling Emily to "shut up" was a bit much. It would have been more effective for the final words to be "stop it", or something less rude. Shut up allows Emily to take the higher ground based on the rudeness, not what she did. And I love that Lorelai is trapped in the same dilemma as her mother, desperately afraid that her daughter is doing the wrong thing, but not sure how to deal with it. She's taking the opposite tack from Emily, instead of a happy medium.

and that's my .02

Art Crawl!!!

TAR: I agree that Rob and Amber are playing VERY well. Although, dude, you were totally lying -- own up to it -- at least when supposedly talking to yourself !

Up with the sun

See, Vonnie, I missed last week, so the whole Emily/Luke/Lorelai dynamic did not so much make sense.

Also, congratulations to Nilly's roommate! I hope you catch up on sleep soon.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Why at Dunkin' Donuts can you only get donuts with jimmies on half of a donut?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

On GG, I'll repeat what I said before, that there needs to be a lot less Kirk and a lot more Lane this season.
