It is not only snowing here, it is gale-force blowing ice. Again.

Ground zero once or twice a winter - I can deal. This winter is beyond anything I've ever experienced, including '78.

And what's the deal: effing Worcester has fog according to the Weather Channel. Aren't they supposed to get all the shit weather because they're inland?

apollogies to Casa VictorandThessaly.

But I do have to say I have the nicest officemate ever. Despite me being a total bitch the last month or so, he gave me a ride to my car so I could avoid walking 20 minutes in the 30 F, 40mph wind gusts. He's the only thing I think I'll miss of this job when I leave it.

The status is NOT quo.

Frank is so me.

The gale-force ice is what's getting to me.

Hell, I'd take the ice if the wind would just FUCKING GO AWAY!!!!

Because I know by summer the air is going to be deader than Darla. I'll take an arctic wind in July/August. FUCK YOU, weather misers!!!!!

Heh, we're getting your snow and ice as rain, thank dog.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

But Chicago is the first place I've lived where you actually even had voter cards. I hope they're not madatory, 'cause I couldn't find mine on a bet. I don't think we have anything coming up, though.

Brenda, you're covered if you have an up-to-date state ID (drivers license or photo ID). We do have some kind of local elections on April 5 (today was the last day to register if you hadn't yet).

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I've seen commercials for Virgin.

I absolutely adored their ad campaign this last holiday season, with their ghetto-fabulous low-budget ads singing this wonderful, slightly-off-key carol to winter holiday inclusivness.

Me, too! "Happy Christmashanakwanzakah.....it's okay if you're agnostic and you don't know what to do."

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yum. I stopped for sushi on the way home, and then went to the Coffee bean, for my first Moroccean Mint Tea Latte, which is now my favorite hot non-coffee drink ever.
