Yay! How about "Stay close to your desks, and never go to sea..."
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Got a hivemind question: VA (at least according to the va.gov Website) stands for Veterans Affairs. Has it ever stood for Veterans Administration? Oh dear, I see that the VHA is the Veterans Health Administration. So in the case of "VA Hospital" is it Affairs or Administration?
it did make me a little hopeful about The Role Of Women, just seeing her in something not a happy bright boxy suit.
Definitely. I don't especially like her, but I do like that she showed up wearing something sexy and powerful and completely feminine, without a hint of frou-frou girliness.
So in the case of "VA Hospital" is it Affairs or Administration?
Affairs.
Emily, according to the VA's web page on their history, [link]
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) was established on March 15, 1989, succeeding the Veterans Administration.
Em, my cube mate hates you now. I have turned on the show tunes. She hates show tunes.
Oh, man. So if they worked at a VA hospital before 1989, should I leave it as Admin? Ech. Like anybody really looks at these!
Em, "How do you keep a wave upon the sand?"
Emily, could be worse. You could be trying to describe what is now the Department of Health and Human Services, back when it was being transformed from Health, Education, and Welfare. There was an alphabet soup unparalleled in the civilian world in its confusingness. To this day, there's a whole industry that revolves around figuring out which sub-office of which section of which division of which department houses the data you want.
