Shit's all sorts of different now.

I thought Condi was supposed to turn the world on with her smile on that last jaunt,

Yeah, Eva Peron had a better trip to France.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Wait wait wait. I don't think you can turn the world on with your smile when you are dressed up like a dominatrix.

I mean, you can turn somebody on, but the whole world is unlikely to share that particular kink. Also, the kind of smile that is a turn-on? Not exactly Mary Tyler Moore.

Unless MTM has this whole secret life I don't know about.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Unless MTM has this whole secret life I don't know about.

Maybe not as a dominatrix (although lord knows she was close in ORDINARY PEOPLE), but FLIRTING WITH DISASTER brought out a whole new side of MTM for me.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I have determined that upper management is trying to suck all the fun out my job, and replace it with boring paperwork.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yeah, Eva Peron had a better trip to France.

Shining like the sun through the post-war haze?

Shining like the sun through the post-war haze?

More like the part where she passes out from the cancer eating away at her.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I feel all weird. And I didn't sleep much the night before last, but I slept very deeply. Last night? I didn't actually fall asleep at all until 4:00 am, and then I was waking up every forty minutes or so, until 8:00, when I told myself I had to get up, but of course I snoozed some more. I really, really, really have to write a scene for my playwriting class, which is fine, because it only needs to be about three pages or so, but I can't focus at all. And I should be at work right now, but I've already decided to go in late. But I still need the hours, so I do need to go in, so I need to write. And yet, my brain is all: zzzzzzzzzz. Bleh.

ita doesn't yell in class
I do now! It's so fun!

Haha. Okay. Congratulatioins.

And you got a great teacher having a meh day.

Oh. Well, it still wasn't particularly fun at all, but I'm willing to concede that a large part of the lack of fun was my own fault. So, whatever.

However (and this is probably important -- I hadn't thought of it specifically before) I yell at the class. I do not yell at individuals.

That is important. And probably why individuals are willing to ask for help, if necessary.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

as much as i dislike condi, that outfit was HOTT

and it's really fucking cold out there. the wet and the wind did not help at all. but now, I have hot soup and chicken wings, and the feeling is starting to return to my face.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

But that outfit didn't make me like her any more, particularly, it just made me wonder where she got her coat. And I can't imagine the world's response was all that far from mine.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

This is kind of pathetic, but it did make me a little hopeful about The Role Of Women, just seeing her in something not a happy bright boxy suit.
