Jayne: That's a good idea. Good idea. Tell us where the stuff's at so I can shoot you. Mal: Point of interest? Offering to shoot us might not work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.

The status is NOT quo.

School is getting out at noon today due to snow.

I think I've missed about 6 of my D block classes at this point. It's getting a little absurd. Also? I am really friggin' sick of snow.

Please make it stop.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Please make it stop.

I'm happy to. Give me six weeks or so.

I'm happy to. Give me six weeks or so.

NOOOOOO. NOW.

Because the building is on a ravine and it is hellishly windy out there, it is currently snowing up.

I'm going to hate my walk to the car tonight.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Profession of Law = Free Food.

Seriously. We also get Lombardi's pizza and beer Thursday nights.

However: 1. Lombardi's pizza is awful after a few hours. 2. You have to be in the office. and 3. You have to eat with lawyers, including the people you work for.

Oh, and! I am unhappy with job and am looking at options, so there you go.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

weekly free breakfast?!?!

I know! I'd never cope with weekly breakfast. I need mine daily.

We only get a monthly one.

Please make it stop.

I'm happy to. Give me six weeks or so.

Just for the record--Denver, Chicago, and Ohio only get one more week. I decree it.

NOOOOOO. NOW.

I'm sorry, these things take time.

Oh, and! I am unhappy with job and am looking at options, so there you go.

You'll really miss all the free food when you're not working 80 hours a week anymore.

Oh! I knew I had something else, related to a past conversation -- I'm reading a Peter Wimsey book, and when a character has a heavy accent/dialect, she uses "cot" to show how he pronounces "caught." It is too different!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It's snowing. Huh? Yesterday, I was outside without a jacket

I KNOW. now they're predicting 1-4 inches of heavy, wet snow.

Trauma! I just went looking through all my tapes, and I can't find the one with X-Clan on it! (Side A: Pass another 40. Side B: Puffing on a blunt.)

Our wings are not tired.

Profession of Law = Free Food

Medical offices have lots of free food around too.

We're considering going back to a real office again instead of our virtual office structure. It's worked well for me for the last 6 years or so, but I'm getting out voted. DH finds focusing at home difficult and others are saying that they feel like hermits and miss the social interaction of the office. No doubt we will do this in the summer when real estate prices are at their lowest.

We drove around over the weekend to scope out residential properties near commercial areas for this purpose. We would never have a sign or anything that would encourage people to come to our office. We are just looking for a house of the right size to fit us. There is a perfect house right next door to a library branch that I want badly. Not only is the library access cool, but we could use their parking lot too. Some young men are renting it now. I hope it's still available in a couple months. That would be very cool.

When we have an office again there will be food.
