I'm sorry, dad. You know I would never have tried to save River's life if I had known there was a dinner party at risk.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So it's not really all about me?

Sad now.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Because it's 8:00?

No! It's 7:00! All bow before Central Standard Time! GMT - 0600 rulez!

tommyrot--love your tag! Although I do miss the live conductor's announcements, as immortalized in The Fugitive.

"Next stop, Balbo. Balbo is the next stop."
"This is my stop."
"Mine, too."

Thanks. It really is useful info. If you happen to be on a northbound CTA Red Line train.

ION, I was attacked on the way home from work. By a boy of about three, who was armed with a four-foot long stick, about one inch thick. He took a definite swing at me, but he swung too soon and missed. My defensive technique was to walk on the grass, out of stick range. This bought enough time for him to be stopped from further attacks by his father.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

24 Woo-hoo! I was hoping for that.

What is even happening?

I'm waiting for dh to be ready to watch 24. In the course of trying to snopes my mum's friend out of an expensive cookie recipe chain email hoax, I got this link in my gmail: [link] MIT Laboratory for Chocolate Science Recipe page.

There isn't too much there. Looks like there might be more here: [link] but I haven't gone through the links, yet.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Woo hoo! Jesse thinks I'm smart!

I suppose you owed it to me Alibelle, after I linked the reverse game, but Whitney? Where'd you dig her up?

Ha! I'd forgotten, and now I feel a little less guilty. I ran across her name in the American Idol recap, but I didn't think I knew the song, and so I went to the iTunes music store, and then I ended up listening to a bunch of Whitney songs. And really, there was no reason for it at all. But that's why I Wanna Dance With Somebody.

Heh. Actually, that's true whether or not Whitney is involved. And happily, it is now time for me to leave for my dance class, and today is dress up day, so I'm all pretty. I'm very 40's-esque. So fun.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

24: I knew as soon as someone mentioned calling Division that she couldn't be far behind.
