But he's always felt deep and pretended to be a hardass.

Yeah, I can't even imagine. Even more so because I can kind of imagine, if you know what I mean. Poor your bro.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's what I said, Jesse.

Eventually.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ita, did you miss the part where we sat next to each other? And talked to each other? I mean, in 8th-grade terms, we're practically married.

Lee, you just got a cool new job! You can't feel like me!

I love my brother a lot, and know his shit too well, and yes he can be a total ass, but he's good people. And I love him for that and just wish life weren't so icky on his behalf, you know? Funny thing is, I didn't get absolutely mommabearish about him until I moved away and we got to know each other all over again. Hell, I could barely stand him or his ilk from ages 3-16. Now? I'd die for him, seriously. It kinda freaks me out, honestly, to be so damned proud to know this person.

Someone in the complex just burned their popcorn. Why must the burned popcorn smell be so pervasive?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So if I am in NYC the week of April 18-22, which I will be, and have time to meet people for dinner, which I hope to, but am not sure of yet, would people want to have dinner?

Maybe we could have sushi, and I can wear my hat.
