Joyce: You don't think it's too obvious? I think I look like I have a cat on my head. Buffy: But a very well groomed cat. Joyce: Well that's a comfort.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Also, Lori tells me that you can set a Tivo remotely by email.

Oh yeah, I keep meaning to figure out how to do that.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I actually don't know if the car is front or rear-wheel drive. It's a 2002 Toyota Corolla

Front drive. Most everything is front-drive today, except for sports cars, luxury cars, SUVs and the Ford Crown Victoria/Mercury Grand Marquis.

Trust my rage

My professor in class just now regarding our level of knowledge of the material:

You guys are at the top of the mountain. It’s all downhill from here. However, sometimes it’s harder to go downhill than up.

She almost sounds like a Buffistas. "And when I say down, I mean up."

Up with the sun

Front drive. Most everything is front-drive today,

Okay. If it's front drive and the problem is with the front axle -- specifically fromt left -- is that better or worse, in terms of "chances Lyra will die in a crash as a result of this"?

(I know I'm kind of fixated on the car crash death thing. Sorry. I had kind of a phobia about driving for many years, and have only started conquering it since last May, and it still crops up when I'm thinking about things like this.)

Our wings are not tired.

Also, Lori tells me that you can set a Tivo remotely by email.

Oh my! That could take me off the Tivo resistance fence. Now I call a neighbor and ask them to pop a tape in for me. Email programming is a concept I could learn to love.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Kat: He didn't actually give a speech. It was a few episodes ago and Rory and Marty were sitting together somewhere and someone came by and said something about her date and she said "What? No, that's just Marty" and he had a look like he wanted to punch somebody. And I think we hadn't seen him since then, so I figuired he was bailing on her entirely.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Lori tells me that you can set a Tivo remotely by email.

I can set mine over the web, but I don't remember what time mine connects, so it's hit or miss if I can get a morning show taped.

I will try, though -- off to TiVo land!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I have a question -- why are people whitefonting for shows that have already aired? -t just whitefonted for something that happened several episodes ago.

I over whitefont as a rule. Just in case.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Thank you, -t. I remember Rory saying that but not his reaction. Marty? NSM on my radar.

Vortex, Natter is not NAFDA.

Plus whitefont makes me laugh.
