Which reminds me -- shotguns vs. rifles and their legality -- I read somewhere that shotguns were less ev0l, so they were easier to have. Of course, you saw them off and you're a bad person, but still. What say you?
I don't know that rifles are more evil than shotguns. Rifles are more precise than shotguns. Once the shot leaves the muzzle of a shot gun it begins to fan out, which makes it more likely that at least part of the load will hit the target. OTOH, shotguns don't have the range of rifles.
Who thinks that those collagen-inflated lips look better than the natural variety, anyway? Aside from porn starlets, I mean.
I know. I think "grouper" lips would be a more accurate description than "bee-stung". Yechh.
Do you have more info on radioactive-making thyroid things?
I do know a lot about it. There's two things they do: 1)Radioactive iodine uptake scans where they scan the body for thyroid cells with a very low dose of radiation and 2)radioactive iodine treatment where they kill thyroid cells with a very high dose of radiation.
I've had the first kind three or four times and the second kind once. Anything specific you want to know?
Jesse, does she have Graves disease? They sometimes ablate (I think that's the word--kill) the thyroid, in Graves disease patients, and the patients are radioactive for a few days after, I think. I'm trying to remember. Two daughters of a friend of ours have had this done, one fairly recently.

Here is what I know: I heard through the family grapevine that my aunt had "something done," that she was fine, but radioactive enough that she had to stay home from work (at a school) for a week. I heard earlier some thing about her thyroid, so I thought maybe it was connected. Stupid family grapevine. I should just call her myself! Cindy's Graves disease thing sounds most likely.
Well, the reason for the digit in evil was because I don't think it's evil at all. I just can't find a word. Less of a threat? A person with one, I mean. Whatever that might result in them being less regulated.
Except for the sawn off ones, that have the hella wide spread.
