What? She killed 'em with mathematics. What else could it have been?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Hey Cash - re: the Odyssey. Why don't you want to pay invoice over MSRP?

It's more of a philosopy. My mother is an expert car buyer. She's always managed to pay either dealer's invoice or under. I don't know how she does it, unless she has some evil superpower I'm unaware of. I've just never seen anyone pay over the sticker price. We got our Accord for VERY close to dealer invoice (they were trying to unload their inventory late in the summer).

I'm just a big baby about it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There are certain subjects where we really can only afford one knowledgable person.

Okay. When it comes to dating criminal parents, Jesse is the final authority.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Oh! I misunderstood. I thought you WANTED to pay MSRP. ANd I was thinking huh?

I went back and read my post. I think I was really tired because it could have been taking that way--I was mixing up MSRP and invoice there while I was pitching a fit.

Or else I was choking on the worry over paying $30K for a vehicle. That could have been it.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

While I doubt she had the clout, I'm pretty sure her name recognition was pretty up there. I knew who she was, and I've never watched even a round of wrestling.

Oh, sorry, wasn't clear. I think that people recognize the name Chyna, but don't have any clue who Joanie Laurer is, and when they see her (parrticularly in street clothes), she just looks kinda familiar. With The Rock, you always know who he is (though I have to admit, the first time I saw the trailer for "Be Cool", there was this wierd three quarter angle shot and I thought he was the guy from The Gigolo, Rob something)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

UNTRUE!!

If I only had a brain...

There are certain subjects where we really can only afford one knowledgable person.

Okay. I am hereby ignorant of clubbing. Either kind.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Oh, I just figured no one else would know, or know how to find out easily. Not that she was the only one permitted. I'm glad you answered.

My brain is a storehouse of useless information. The WWE has actually been used as an example in copyright and trademark classes in law school. It was a bit jarring to see the name pop up in my casebook.

I'm sorry, but I can't let this go unchecked. There are certain subjects where we really can only afford one knowledgable person. Otherwise, it's just chaos.

A little chaos never hurt anyone. Makes life interesting. Besides, we're talking about wrestling. Isn't chaos and mayhem expected?

Pretty soon, we'll start assigning each Buffista a subject in which to become proficient. Then all of our questions can be answered in-house.

Dude, we have that already.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Pretty soon, we'll start assigning each Buffista a subject in which to become proficient.

I volunteer to handle "Penguins in Space." That way, every query on this subject can be answered with, "There aren't any."
