Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Also hot on Alias was the premise that Sark is kissing the woman dressed up as the woman who got him off by dressing up as .. you know the woman actually kissing him, who's in love with the man who was married to the woman who used to dress up as the woman kissing him. And he's watching. If you know what I mean.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Well done, ita.

Alias: this is not where the healthy people live.

Art Crawl!!!

And that's how we like it.

Okay: Jack and Bobby. Well, these people have no academic ethics at all, do they? At least not until they have the ethical problem shoved in front of their face. And to me, this episode showed why Grace and Tom were both incorrect in their assertions that there was no compulsion involved in their relationship. She got him to agree to let her re-write his paper. That's completely unethical. Would he have let a peer do that? I think not. But Grace, as a tenured professor with at least a decade more experience in the field than Tom managed with very little effort to get him to agree to let her do something completely wrong. Of course, it doesn't say much for Tom that he didn't cancel his presentation until after she reneged on the agreement.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

But she doesn't have Long Way Round, if memory serves.

I think Robin may have taped it for her.

ita, are you watching it? In the first ep, Ewan has a personal trainer, and they box and do butt crunches, and fun stuff.

Yum, Ewan.

Am I going to still like last night's Alias, if I haven't seen the previous seasons?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It looks like Steve Fossett is going to make it after all. Currently he's over north western New Mexico. He should arrive at Salina, Kansas in about three hours.

It looks like Steve Fossett is going to make it after all

Cool. I'm vaguely hoping he makes it, just because. I can't think of anything it'll really accomplish, but it's kind of neat.
