Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah. Weren't we the only major industrialized nation to execute teenagers? Actually, aren't we the only major Western industrialized nation to have the death penalty?

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I have had periods of green or freakishly yellow snot. In college, I did ask a nurse practitioner about the phenomenon, and she said it was no big whoop.

It being St. Davy's Day, we should all put leeks in our caps, except have you ever noticed how leeks are the one winter vegetable that does not go down in price during the winter? Maybe leeks are such a national treasure that they cannot be grown anywhere but Wales. Maybe we're being gouged by the Aberystywyth Mafia.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I think I'm going to make leek and potato soup tonight to celebrate. With a good loaf of bread.

Damn, I'm hungry and it's nowhere near lunch time.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Per Amnesty International, "Since 2000, only five countries are known to have executed juvenile offenders: China, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Pakistan, and the USA. 13 of these 21 executions have been in the USA."

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Well, even if the WMD thing was a bust, there's still the human rights angle....

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I feel like ass and want to go back to bed. Was late for work and think I will leave early.

I am blaming the 80 degree office and 30 degree outside for any illness I get.

My event still has no people, we should cancel, but I have to ask for permission.

I flaked this weekend when I looked at some meds. I thought I had enough for this week, but no. I run out tonight and the Dr. appt is on Thurs. I called the pharm to get 2 pills to hold me over - I think they'll do it. big giant flake.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

no mention of a drink when he mentions something bringing "flavor to the party."

That's when we generally drink.

I had to change clothes this morning. Stupid nasty slush. Did I mention I had to shovel? And there was slush? And how much I hate people?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I feel your pain, sarameg. Shoveling this morning was like trying to move a Slurpee from point A to point B without a cup.
