And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

this excellent knife holder

Wow. Not ita, but I absolutely need that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

DX, there's another show doing the thesis advisor lurves the student thing, and I think it's presented as properly scandalous. But I don't want to see it again, (and I want it fixed on the other show), so I'm hoping that works out. Hell, big brother dating his co-worker is probably safest steered clear of.

I think this week's dessert will be lemon bars.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

And timelies!

I think today's breakfast will be waffles with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. Which I will have to pay someone to make for me. There is this building where I can often find people who will make food for me in exchange for money, so I think I shall go there.

edit: "Ant timelies"?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ooh, I want lemon bars, and I even have one. Brunch isn't for over 3 hours either.

DX, re your whitefont, I saw a trailer in which they addressed the thesis advisor issue, though I don't know if it has been aired yet.

I'm mixed about which scenario I'd like to see. I think either could be done well, or done really badly and cliched.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Potato party? That sounds good. I found a recipe for colcannon last night that I think I might have to try out.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Currently in my purple jammies, but I will soon shower and dress. Then I will go shopping for clothes and comic books.(Local comic store is having a clearance sale. I'm gonna see if anything I want is on sale)

Oooh. Want apartment. The outside isn't much to look at, but I love the inside. [link] Off to see if it's a manageable commute.

Go team wood beam ceilings -- that looks lovely, Lee.

My Sunday teaching has been yanked out from under me. My Sunday mornings look weird. Do I take kickboxing, which I love and haven't been able to get to for a year, because of teaching? Do I rest my back and take the day off krav to do my other stuff? Can I get past the idea that the world should collapse without me there?

Stay tuned for the exciting developments.

Feh. It's only 15 miles from work, but it's also under a mile from SFO, which might not be good.
