I do need to go to Lush. But I also need to go to the Container Store more to pick up something I've ordered and paid for. So that means Lush in Pasadena works better. Wanna come in the afternoon? I can show you the couch I want to buy.

Hey, Lee, Kat -- you guys still need to go to Lush?
ooo, I'd love to invite myself along, if it worked out.
lemon sorbet was mentioned - need to go look for a cabernet sorbet...
I do want to go, but I have to go to work. If you go next weekend, let me know.
so did you catch the part about where I'm not feeling the loss?
I thought sweetening the pot with Kelly might work. She's really cool.
It appears I'm not going, though.
I fear I'm old.
Kat, Pasadena is too far away for me to do that and get the rest of my stuff done tomorrow. I'd blocked out this afternoon for hanging with my cuz, and then promptly forgot why I'd blocked it out, and slotted a whole bunch of errands in there. Which remain undone, because this afternoon was spent waiting for cuz to call, or actually seeing her.
I fear I'm old.
I fear I'm old.
I wish I could allay your fears but...
The bad news? You will continue to get older. This is the sad fact of linear time (or at least our human perception of it.)
I don't mind getting older. That's not bad news at all, considering the alternative. But getting older doesn't have to mean you're old.
waiting for cuz to call, or actually seeing her.
Did you see her at least? (clearly I skimmed).
We went to our friend's wedding shower, which as small and surprisingly fun. We bought stuff off the registery (boring) instead of buying embarrassing lingerie (uncomfortable). But I realized how I loved getting registry gifts.
Anyhow....
Hey, there's only one cure for getting older, and last I checked, the cure was worse than the disease.
Which is my way of saying, still going to Lush tomorrow at Pasadena. Do you need anything from the container store?
OH! so random, Lori went to the shower with me. As she walked in, a woman yells "Lori! What are you doing here!" It was one of the rockclimby people she knows and I've met years ago. She's the aunt of the bride. How's that for random?
Also, the bride's granny invited us to come camping with her and go rockclimbing. We had never met her before but her husband was a big time old school rock climber.
CUTE!
