Zoe: Next time we smuggle stock, let's make it something smaller. Wash: Yeah, we should start dealing in those black-market beagles.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I say long raincoat. Is it a nice one?

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

And famous people need those items because, well, it's not like they can afford to pay for them.

Intellectually, I know it's all about the publicity, but my inner "must-have-it-all" devil is whining because, damnit, it should be mine.

It's like The Donald's wedding. The Mrs. got a custom designed Christian Lacroix gown worth $100 grand, when he could have very well purchased 10 of them. I need a donated designer wedding gown. There'd be no other way I'd ever get one.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Well there are two. One is hotpink, which is a no given what else I'm wearing. The other is black and not really raincoaty so much as a long coat that will keep the rain off me.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Just paid taxes. Feh.

I'm always in favour of long black coats. Go for it.

My mother's home sick today, so we've been exchanging e-mails all day. She's so conversational in her writing. It cracks me up. How can you not love emails that start "What's wrong with you?" as often as not? Well, ones from my mother anyway.

She wants me to be more needy. I told her I'm plenty needy, I just figure I have to supply myself.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Colin was not-quite famous for ten seconds, and got the most shit. It's so unreal.

I'm (of course) coveting all the make-up and the chocolates.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Why do you have thunder, Kat? Did you run out of brown goats to sacrifice?

I would definitely take the two nights at the Bellagio. Other stuff on the list may have greater market value, but Vegas, baby! And the Bellagio is beautiful.

Hot-lanta turned out to be rainy and nasty. They should call it Rainy-lanta except not. And it was so in and out that I almost felt like I wasn't there. And I got back to NYC yesterday at 1:30 and what happens by 4:00? Snow? Why does the weather hate me?

On the other hand, shiny new tag. And very enjoyable Natter reading today.

Yes, they are.

WRONG. Not that you are. It is.

Speaking of need, I could need this.

Everyone needs that because it is beautiful. I want one like that but in kelly green, which according to the interview I read w/some Ann Taylor Loft buyer in the Delta Skymiles Magazine is being referred to as parrot green for spring. Whatever it's called, I really like the color. And they had a very similar coat in that color in the magazine.

And did y'all know that there really is no Ann Taylor? It was the name of a dress style. I had no idea.
