Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Ya gotta prefer Old School Garofalo to her current look.

Old School all the way. Oh yeah? And who was busting my chops about blonde boys? And yet, dark-haired Janeane is gorgeous.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

discover that there are no TimTams to be purchased in the airport

This is not quite as crazy as the major airport I once flew with that did not sell gum, but it's up there. No TimTams? What's wrong with them?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Singapore?

Dublin airport doesn't sell gum. They were sick of cleaning it off tables and floors.

What's wrong with them?

I'm guessing TimTams are not Kiwi enough, sigh. But I had great plans to buy a case (or at least several boxes), and saved my cash to do so, and ended up flying home with $10NZ in my pocket instead. Sigh.

Want TimTams! We only found the Tia Maria ones once, but they were awesome.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lee, you should switch the duct tape out for a corset.

Hmm. I have to admit I'm tired of never being able to get the tape gunk off.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Goo Gone. It's wonderful stuff. Only if you don't want to switch to a corset.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

No reason you can't make a corset out of duct tape.

A friend of mine did precisely this. She used plastic boning that was also from the hardware store. I helped her hammer in the grommets. It looked darn good. (She did use a corset she already owned as a pattern.)

Singapore?

No. I honestly can't remember for sure where it was, but I know it was in the US--Orlando, maybe?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

No reason you can't make a corset out of duct tape.

A friend of mine made her prom dress out of duct tape and black and white photographs she had taken.
