Because books.

I love that idea, Kristen.

People are writing things! Yay!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

My goal for this year is still to get at least marginally more serious about songwriting. I really let it just fall off my plate when I get busy, which is always now, and I have Stuff To Say, so I should damn well be writing.

Always Anti-fascist!

I need to get Model Citizen ready for primetime(or its closeup) or something...unfortunately I'm completely bored with it every time I look at it these days and all I see are giant non-fixable fatal flaws. But, on the upside to avoid it, my files have never been cleaner.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I want to start writing fiction again, but I have to do something to get better organized. I'm actually going to the store tomorrow to buy ... a planner... Oh the horror.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I've gone back to basics, with a pen, and a paper journal. So far it's a cross between ramble and chronicle, but at least I'm attempting to get the habit back.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Writing, right. For the coming year I am going to work on getting a book published, and on finishing a fiction project that's been rattling around in my head for a while.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I started writing in my journal again today, and I am hoping to keep with it this time. I have been thinking about doing a NaNoWriMo type of thing in January, because it will just never happen in November when the holiday season seems to just be beginning, but January seems like the perfect, quiet month to make a real attempt at writing.

Because books.

I always wondered why NaNoWriMo was in November. It's such a busy month. January is perfect for something like that, really.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I know. January would be great for NaNoWri.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm committed to too many other resolutions to take on a NaNoWriMo in January. I was thinking of doing something like that in March, though.

Because I'm sure to have lots of free time then. It's in the future.
