I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

Because books.

PopTarts:

In less interesting (more?) and far less edifying news, I have to write jacket copy for an erotic romance (insert raised eyebrows here) about a satyr. Yes, a satyr. And his *two* lances of love, one of which is magical and appears only for procreating purposes.

I may need to lie down for a bit. Or very possibly start drinking.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's really cool, Allyson. I sent it on to some people.

You are supposed to mention the lances of love in the jacket copy?

Because books.

You are supposed to mention the lances of love in the jacket copy?

So your copy does not have to be quite this bad:

"Born with magical erotic powers to make women supernaturally happy, Melvin was twice the man any mortal could ever be. Can exotic beauty Clara tame satisfy his body's half-beast immortal lust, and capture his wild heart?"

What is even happening?

Amy, with the help of a foot rest and a bedy straw, you can drink while lying down.

I've heard.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

But do his two ladyloves each have two, er, portals of joy?

What is even happening?

No, silly. That might give them say over whether or not he deigns to gift them with his offspring.

Well, um, just the two any woman has.

I'm getting the pig!

Technically, women have *three* portals of joy... depending on whether we're talking about giving or receiving of said joy.

::btw, totally in love with your tagline, AmyLiz::
