Costco has superb office chairs. Mine's mostly taped together these days - bloody cats - but it saved my arse, not to mention my back. $100 at costco, high back adjustable arms, excellent lumbar support. It's no joke, especially not with the MS.
Kate sells me some Kinkaids - or Daymond's thing does what we all think it's going to do - I'm buying me an Aeron. My back loves those.
Meep. (fangirl)
Just been going back and forth in email with Bela Fleck. He's about to climb into Famous Flower of Serving Men.
(total and complete wibble)
Am going to ask for Kinkaids blurb. But BELA FLECK. I adore the Flecktones and Strength in Numbers.
Meep.

Jings, Gus, sorry about your cover art, dude.
...Deb, have you seen this? Because I think it's truly fabulous.
Yah on Fleck blurb. Fay - great picture. AmyLiz insent.
Huh. I think my taste in photos of me differs from the rest of the universe's taste, because, well, um, no.
Gar, I already responded.
Can someone beta-read something for me? It's basically just a page and a half - essay for an anthology (non-fiction) about writers and psychic experience. This is just the lead-in and I want to see if it feels right.
Deb, I can read it when Sara's napping.
Amy, insending. No rush - and it's very short.
Need to come back here after errands and lunch and write the next 2000 or more words on New-Slain Knight. Hoping for some serious feedback on this one from my WIP readers, because it's the "buy me!" thing, but so far, feedback's been minimal.
Thanks Amy. I did reply to your reply; the insent message was put in before you responded.
And I'll share the good news. One of the larger small publishers out there has asked for a manuscript in response to my queries. Amy told me that it is fine to respond to this - just disclose to both publishers that the submission is now multiple. Hopefully this won't stop them from considering it.
