"And the Chef for Dessert"
Oh my god, I love this! ::making notes::
Is that an issue for books? Only in the same genre, or published within a certain number of years of each other?
Yeah, you don't want to use a title that's already been used, although if it's completely different genres, it doesn't matter as much. Or if the previous book is really old or out of print.
Murder a la Carte?
Used for a series of books on how to stage those murder mystery dinner thingies yourself. Each book in the series has a fictional murder you can stage yourself as part of the dinner party. I think it includes props too.
On edit also used in actual mystery novel

Right - I thought I remembered it.
How about
...And Death for Dessert
...And Death for Dessert
Ooh, I like this, too, but I don't think it gets across the romance as much. And I think Editor is leaning toward more romance, less mystery in the title.
And Death for Dessert
ooh. I like it. except (I'm just doing quick googles)

My mind keeps going to a "Naked Chef" place -- too bad it's taken. Also, too bad my mind has to come back from said place....
