Definitely vibing for you and Nic, Deb.
The Great Write Way, Chapter Two: Twice upon a time...
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
Nerves! Nerves in new places!
I can see why. Loads of ~ma and vibes winging your way.
Vibes to you both.
::vibes~vibes~vibes::
Deb, tons of ~ma to both of you.
Vibing like a thing that... you know... vibes a lot. Um.
Oh dear. What have you people done to Ailleann?
deb, all the best to you and Nic. I'm holding my breath, crossing my fingers, thinking good thoughts, and hoping for wonderful things for you.
My daughter just pinged me to pass on a book Daym thinks I ought to read: Luther Campbell's book documenting his days with 2 Live Crew. She says it's probably a bit hardcore (shocked! I tell you, I am SHOCKED!), but that he recced it for me as reading for the series.
That doesn't sound as if he hated the proposal.
Does it?
edit: and Daymond just rang up. Can we move it until tomorrow? Still slammed with work and last-minute meetings.
Yup. No prob.
I'll breathe again, when? Monday, maybe?
When will you know about Nic's interview result? IE, you should know by now, yes?

He still hasn't rung home to let me know. The first round were supposed to go 4.5 hours; they went 5.5 hours because everyone loved him and more people wanted to talk with him.
This one - so far as either of us knew - was going to be the one on one with the VP of marketing. It began at 1:30. It's now not quite five.
I am choosing to interpret this positively, as in, they showed him the facility and bought him lunch. Of course, that interpretation does mean that, if I'm wrong and the interview lasted eleven minutes and he just wandered off and is browsing a bookstore, I am going to beat him to death with one of my larger pieces of All-Clad stainless.
Gah. So much money on the line.
Must. BREATHE.
