Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Connie, that's EXACTLY what I thought when I saw that picture!

Deb, ouch. And awwww. And -- they're so pretty, aren't they?

brillig

Everyone else is so in focus and he's the only kid and he's not completely blurry. I may have been watching too much "Most Haunted" on the Travel Channel.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I third Steph and Connie. I had a ghost drabble all ready. Must think now.

Hrm.

Well, I haven't even looked at the pictures yet and I can tell I'm going to like them just from the drabbles they've inspired. Oh, and I think Deena has been channeling Kara a leetle too much.

Oh, and I think Deena has been channeling Kara a leetle too much.

Where do you think Kara gets all her evil goodness from? She is so very much her mother's daughter.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Huh. I have apparently sold a novel-length thing.

A lot folks in this thread will be going "WTF?" Especially when they hear that I had utterly forgotten that I had submitted the thing.

Type it. Mail it. Forget it.

I took this advice too literally. I honestly had to go back to early 2005 files and read the thing again, so I could get current with the discussion.

Anyway. The dollars are green. The thing is going to be printed. My actual human name will be on the spine.

All of that is probably good.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Whoa, Gus! That's great!

What's the book about?

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

O, say ... 300 pages.

Badda- boom.

Try the veal.

The book is about what my thinking was, about a year ago, on why men seek women.

Teh sex, of course.

You said novel-length, but is it a novel or just personal philosophy, Gus?
