And I wonder, what possible catastrophe came crashing down from heaven and brought this dashing stranger to tears?

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

O, say ... 300 pages.

Badda- boom.

Try the veal.

The book is about what my thinking was, about a year ago, on why men seek women.

Teh sex, of course.

You said novel-length, but is it a novel or just personal philosophy, Gus?

brillig

Crap, I'm going to have to get my act together and put together a presentable novel.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

It is a novel, SA. It has all that story stuff. It starts out with a dude who cannot differentiate his ass from his elbow. A girl occurs. The dude discovers the difference.

If I ever get a publicist, he or she is going to hate me.

Go for it, connie. All your alternate reality fanfic is just novels with familiar names to them. Write one and slap something other than a Buffyverse name in it.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Connie actually has a perfectly good novel in good-sized chunks; I know, because I've read some of it. She avoids quite a few common traps, right out the gate, and some of the few traps she did fall into are extremely shallow and easy for anyone with an instinct to climb right out of. So yes, she should do that thing.

Gus, you sly dog, you! What's it called?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Congratulations, Gus!

Because books.

Congratulations, Gus! But we need more details -- when does it come out? What's the title?
