Aimee, I just gotta say "ow" to yours. And I, too, am damn glad I sleep 1800 miles away from ita.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Four weeks come Thursday. 28 days.

Holy crap, deb. I've been reading your updates and I sit in awe.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I sent 14 to my husband. His comment: "So where's 15?"

Fucker.

But in a good way, Deb. Hee.

I have the feeling that I may start chapter 15 tonight. It's going to be tension and release - and I'm going to need to tap into some deeply buried memories to access it properly.

A friend of mine told me recently that the only way he can get to the inner shit that allows him to make music is to be drunk.

What is even happening?

A man after my own heart.

Yeah, so where's my feedback on 14....?!?!?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Deb, I have a stabby stabby ice-pick stabby sinus headache that's threatening to turn into a migraine.

We've been having the same oppressively hot sticky weather the East Coast is having, but that's due to change dramatically by tomorrow -- cooler and much less humid -- and the dramatic change in the air pressure turns my head into a barometer.

And depsite assaulting the headache with drugs, it does not want to go away. So as soon as I can focus on the bright computer screen long enough to read a whole chapter, I'll have feedback to you.

For now, off to lie in a dark room.

Oh, Jesus. Someone tell me I'm not responsible here, OK? Someone tell me I'm not spreading bad karma with this book?

From today's news:

ROLLING STONE WOOD'S EX-WIFE DIES

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is in mourning after learning his first wife has died of a suspected drug overdose.

Ex-model Krissy Wood, who has a 27-year-old son with the "Start Me Up" rocker and was married to him from 1971 to 1978, was found dead on a sofa in a friend's London flat.

Friends believe the newly-single 57-year-old accidentally overdosed on Valium she was taking to combat her depression, writes British newspaper The Sun.

Pal Fiona Carey tells the publication, "Krissy was really upset -- as low as I have ever seen her.

"I woke up and saw her slumped on the sofa. I rang (emergency number) 999. The ambulance crew said it looked like an overdose.

"She has died far too young."

Ronnie is said to be "devastated" by the news.
