I got my hair cut on Friday and not a single person at work today said anything. I've even got pretty extra!extra!red highlights and no one said a word. Sigh. We live in a world of nearsighted dweebs who don't have connie's spiffy new glasses to help them out.

My daughter's itching to butch it up, again, but I am resisting, for now. I told her I wanted to lose weight before I went back to a buzzcut, I just don't think it looks as good on me when I'm heavier. But, I'll get back to it again, it's so damn easy to take care of.

I got my hair cut two weeks ago. My OWN mother noticed Julia's on that day, and then I told her (in front of her very eyes) that I had mine cut, too. A week later, I said something about my hair cut, and she said, "Oh, you got your hair cut?"

The only person who noticed was Scott. Not one soul anywhere I go. Or they all hate it, and think it's nearly as bad as Teppy's haircut must be.

I'm always surprised when my students notice things like my haircuts. I shouldn't be, of course, as I notice when they get haircuts, but somehow, it never occurs to me that it would be noticable in the other direction.
