I don't care if it is an orgy of death, there's still such a thing as a napkin.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I got my hair cut on Friday and not a single person at work today said anything.

I would have! I noticed how long your hair had gotten in a picture you had posted recently.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

My daughter's itching to butch it up, again, but I am resisting, for now. I told her I wanted to lose weight before I went back to a buzzcut, I just don't think it looks as good on me when I'm heavier. But, I'll get back to it again, it's so damn easy to take care of.

What is even happening?

I got my hair cut two weeks ago. My OWN mother noticed Julia's on that day, and then I told her (in front of her very eyes) that I had mine cut, too. A week later, I said something about my hair cut, and she said, "Oh, you got your hair cut?"

The only person who noticed was Scott. Not one soul anywhere I go. Or they all hate it, and think it's nearly as bad as Teppy's haircut must be.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm always surprised when my students notice things like my haircuts. I shouldn't be, of course, as I notice when they get haircuts, but somehow, it never occurs to me that it would be noticable in the other direction.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I hope everything goes well during Emmett's nose job. Having had several fairly spectacular injuries as a child, I can testify that I remember them fondly as being full of adventures, street cred and ice cream. My mother does not remember them the same way.

Up with the sun

So you have no pervy interest in my haircut, David? I am truly, deeply hurt.

(Not that I'm posting photos, because I don't think it's an especially good cut. But it is short, at the least.)

What is even happening?

I didn't get it cut short Hec, remember. Julia cried too hard about it, and I just couldn't. The next time I go without her, I'll chop it off short, and I'll send you and JZ pictures. We didn't even take any pictures yesterday, with everyone all dressed up. Well, we did, but with my mother's camera. I hope she gets doubles. She's usually pretty good about that.
