Oh, Anne, I'm glad you were able to reschedule the dinner. Like Kristin said, deep breaths. It's gonna work out. It sucks, though, that you've figured this all out on the weekend when really you can't do anything about it. You're like me...MUST FIX NOW! Unfortunately, the world doesn't work that way for us. hello!
we are attempting productivity. already today, we had breakfast (went to the Cambridge Marriott for buffet breakfast- when I was there for work last week, there was some snafu with our keycards and they gave us a gift certificate to make up for the hassle) and went to the bank, and went shopping at Trader Joes. Tom is currently at the barber's getting a haircut, and when he gets back we are going to Bed Bath & Beyond to FINALLY get a Kitchen Aid mixer! We've been angling for this for months.
Of course it will probably sit on our counter for weeks till we get into the habit of using it...
It's nice outside! Yay!
I had some weird dreams that pretty much captured the feelings about myself being Teh Suck. Ugh, I hate hating myself like this.

vw, my Saturday is going well, thank you! I've been very productive this morning (though not as much as Nora!!) and returned a bunch of emails I've been putting off for way too long. I've also been basking in the sweet recommendation that one of my students wrote for me to use in my applications for college positions next year.
