I was thinking the same thing!
'Him'
Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Well, then. Let's fix that. How goes your Saturday, Kristin?
hello!
we are attempting productivity. already today, we had breakfast (went to the Cambridge Marriott for buffet breakfast- when I was there for work last week, there was some snafu with our keycards and they gave us a gift certificate to make up for the hassle) and went to the bank, and went shopping at Trader Joes. Tom is currently at the barber's getting a haircut, and when he gets back we are going to Bed Bath & Beyond to FINALLY get a Kitchen Aid mixer! We've been angling for this for months.
Of course it will probably sit on our counter for weeks till we get into the habit of using it...
It's nice outside! Yay!
I had some weird dreams that pretty much captured the feelings about myself being Teh Suck. Ugh, I hate hating myself like this.
MY GOODNESS, Nora! I'm just getting my to do list made! I am very jealous of the Kitchen Aid having. I REALLY want one, but we have nowhere to put it, so it will have to wait. Have fun, though!
Yay for being nice outside and for productivity and for breakfast and for mixers, Nora!
vw, my Saturday is going well, thank you! I've been very productive this morning (though not as much as Nora!!) and returned a bunch of emails I've been putting off for way too long. I've also been basking in the sweet recommendation that one of my students wrote for me to use in my applications for college positions next year.

Awww! That's wonderful! I love good, thoughtful recommendation letters. I have one from a professor of mine that is very short, but also one of the most complimentary things ever said about me. Whenever I get down about my writing, I pull that thing out.
I need to get productive. And I will. I've...um...walked my dog, made coffee, put away dishes...and now I'm making the to do list. More productivity will come after that :)
Don't wanna work!! *pouts*
I am thinking though, that depending on Army Boy's schedule next weekend, I may take a day trip to Boston to check out my little brother's new pad and maybe hit up Lush or something. I need a change of scenery!
Hey, Nora. Could you do me a favor at Bed, Bath and Beyond? Could you just look and see if they have many lamp shades? I'm wondering if they'd be a place worth checking out. But, I don't want to make the trip if they don't really have a decent selection.
Lilty in Boston! Yay! Would we be able to plan a little dinner or something while you're here?
Lilty, I swear, if you come to Boston and don't tell me... I'll... I'll... It'll be the back of me hand!
Yay, for Kristin basking. I am happy to hear that you have something tangible that makes you feel good in this time of intense emotional cycling.
Our productivity was helped along by a FREE huge breakfast! GOt our asses out of bed right quick. I am very excited to go to BB&B, and there's a Target and Home Depot in that plaza as well. Want to also get file cabinets... the house is such a mess, and disorganized, I am so looking forward to spring cleaning. Not that I will do any spring cleaning for a couple weeks (well, maybe next week) but I need some time to get myself all psyched up for it.
I've been drinking coffee and laughing hysterically at ironhymen.com.
