Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

(smiling at vw's description of feedback whorishness) I'm still the worst. I am like one of the scrawny women on "Cops"...been living on Fritos and compliments. And just before the Man picks me up for "loitering", I can't resist going back for one more hit. "I got metaphor that'll blow your mind. Please, baby, please. Nothin' but the finest dialogue...you know I'm good for it."

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Oh, much ~ma, Cashmere.

Need coffee

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Erika has a new tag, and I'm supposed to be writing my thesis, as usual. Toodles.

-ma for Cashmere. And, vw, much as I relate to your story, I can appreciate your classmate's FTF sentiment as well, sometimes. You know, Finish The Fucker...opus draft 1.0 is a definite FTF sitch at the moment.(Every project is by the end.)Yeah, Polter-cow, "Passion" snark is funny, but Otis is/ was romantic. And it sounds like you have your own FTF situation.

What is even happening?

I'll make sure I update everyone when my sister calls. She called once at 7:30 and she said the doc would update them at 10:00. The surgery is supposed to last 7 hours or so. Thanks for the ma.

I was wondering how long the surgery went. That's a long time to wait for word. I hope it passes quickly for you.

I hate waiting for stuff. I think there should be knock-out drugs for some stuff--like waiting for medical news on yourself or a loved one. Loved one's in surgery? Here. Take this pill, it'll knock you out cold, until the exact moment when you get the call, telling you everything went like clockwork.

You've just had a test, and it's going to take 7 days for the results? Here, lie down. We'll hook up this IV, and only shut it off once we can tell you're fine, or that we've successfully treated your condition.

~ma to Cashmere and family

Yay for vw's continued progress on the incompletes and for getting ahead. She's a better person than I am. In my case, if it weren't for th 11th hour, nothing would ever get done.

I need to kick my brain into gear. More coffee...

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Best to your mom, Cashmere. Maybe any leftover ma can be sent towards my father, who goes in for a knee replacement today and is mightily freaked about it.

Cashmere - Feb 14, 2005 4:33:59 am PST #909 of 10001
Now tagless for your comfort.

brenda, I'll send some knee-ma for you dad. it's a great surgery, though! My sister's FiL got both his replaced and he LOVES his new knees. He's in his 70's and he's more active than he's ever been.

Cindy, wrod on the waiting thing. Feh. I hates it.
