Kristin, it's going to be OK.
Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I got the pretty new shelves I ordered. I got the first one 3/4 of the way constructed and then got a business call. I left it laying on the floor of the living room, perfectly safe since both babies were napping.
Kara decided she wasn't napping after all, and came down just after I got on the phone. That was okay though, she started quietly playing with her dinosaurs.
Only, she got bored, and I was on the phone. So she broke the bookshelf, stripped the screw holes, broke the wood. It's... I don't know if I can fix it, but it doesn't look like it. A mostly constructed 72 inch bookshelf. It weighs three times her weight. I don't even know how she did it.
Sorry, I don't mean to be all mememe. {{{Kristin}}} It really will be okay. You'll be happier and it will all come out right.
Kristin, it's totally going to be ok. You remember that faith I have in you? I don't have that in just anyone ;)
BAD KARA! Time for the naughty circle.
t /too much Supernanny
Kristin, everything will be really great.
Thanks everyone. I'm sorry to be needy and leany, especially given the horror -t is dealing with right now...I'm just so unsettled in so many aspects of my life right now, and I'm profoundly scared. I don't scare easily. I don't like feeling this way.
Oh, Deena!
Oh, -t, there aren't words to express how sorry I am. So much ~ma to you and your husband.
Susan, all the best to your father, and coping~ma for you.

I'm still a smoker, but I've cut down drastically over the past 4 years. I used to smoke a pack and a half a day, and now I'm down to a pack every 4 days or so. I decided not to smoke in the new apartment, and that has been the difference. It's amazing how much less I want a cigarette when I have to put on shoes, a coat, and hat to satisfy the urge.
Stephanie, I like Ella, Elena (which would sound very pretty with your last name), and Elisa. I think the option of having a more formal name on the birth certificate gives her the most choices, whatever she decides to become.
Kristin, you're doing the right thing. All the best decisions are terrifying, I think, because to get the big rewards you have to take the big risks.
Someone please tell me that it's all going to be okay?
It's going to be fine. Honestly, I temped for 10 years. Cobbled together rent money for a year of unemployment. You'll be amazed at how many resources you'll still have without your steady job. And you'll find something else readily. Nobody's going to say No to you.
If you need any more legal smiting, I'm around....
Really? I may take you up on that.
Hey, I've told you guys about my mom believing that snow is a sign of something big and positive, right? So, I just got an e-mail from her (that she sent to our whole family), and this is how it opened:
It is supposed to snow tomorrow, so it is time for another job update!
I'm almost starting to believe in it myself. But, damn! Snow! Again! It's 56 degrees and beautiful right now. I don't want more snow!
