How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

GC, we're wanting one of those too, though for more than aesthetic reasons.

Deena, do you think you'd have time later today or tomorrow morning to look at a couple of pieces of writing?

Absolutely, whenever you're ready.

{{{Cashmere}}} so yucky. I hope it goes away fast.

The pancakes were a huge hit, but there was so much batter that I did a little finagling and hopefully turned the leftovers into a quick bread dough which is now baking in the oven.

My meara before I go to work. (Wish the real meara was around. She's too busy these days).

Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

I love to see lexine happy, even if she does diss the schmoop.

I now have half a fic written.

Would that be part of the crossover I love, Anne?

Have you thought about renting her out to a company that demolishes buildings?

No, but that would be better than selling her to science. We'd get her back tired. I like that plan.

I discovered a cheese called parrano

That sounds awesome. Kara and I bond over cheese. She'd love it.

it was a record 55F and sunny

Our winter is being weird too. Today it's warm, tomorrow cooler and rainier, and then the possibility of snow by Wednesday.

I don't want to work. Someone tell me I don't have to.

You're the bestest! I'm gonna have one ready here shortly.

Yum! We just got bananas in our grocery order. I hope we don't eat them all so I can make banana bread. It sounds really yummy right now.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Want to hear laziness?? I have moved (temporarily my large couch into the computer roon. My house looks like drunken tennage male brownies hosted an all-night gaming party. I don't care right now. It has rained all weekend, and I am still sickly and all I have done is work and sleep. And I have to go to the theatre in an hour for this show's last performance. VERY glad, as that means a month off weekends for me, during rehearals for the next show.

I wanted to go out really badly last night, and wore my cleavagey-est dress to work last night, but when I got off work all my friends were IN. It was very dpressing. And I looked really pretty, and I just watched L&O SVU on the PC till 2 am.

I am weaing a large tshirt by cactus showgirls that my mom and dad brought me back from Vegas. Tempting to wear it in to work, but no.

I think I'll try to finish my tea, clean up and head to the used bookstore before 1:30, try to get something to read. I DO NOT feel like lesson planning or grading papers at work today. It's like...double-work.

Ah shit. All My Children spoilers ahoy: I just found out that Eden Riegel is leaving All My Children. She played Erica Kane's gay daughter Bianca. Damn it. But The L Word starts in a week so that's some gay consolation...

ETA whitefont just in case :)

GC, are they writing her character out of the show? Or replacing her with someone else? It won't be the first time a soap has done that.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Big Lots is selling medical uniform tops or pants for $7.99 each. I recall someone asking about them a while back.

Ooh! they have Lava™ Lamps for $9.99. t /geek

I think they'll probably recast her but I like Eden. Also, another character (Maggie) is leaving with her. They're not killing them off, just moving them away so they can recast. Dang.

Laura - Feb 13, 2005 9:40:27 am PST #842 of 10001
Our wings are not tired.

I am very easy when it comes to recasts. I am far more committed to a character than an actor in almost all circumstances. I'm odd that way. If the announcement was, "The part of Fox Mulder will now be played by John Doe," I would have been cool with it. As long as the recast is reasonable. Doesn't bother me.

The actors I am committed to I will happily check out on their new ventures, but character and actor don't need to stay fused for me to continue to enjoy the work.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

My day today:

talked to sister on phone, eaten breakfast, hung out on the computer, sat on couch, gone back to bed, eaten lunch, hung out on computer. I think I will return to bed.
