We didn't have sex, if that's what you mean. That's all I do now, not have sex.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

I am very easy when it comes to recasts. I am far more committed to a character than an actor in almost all circumstances. I'm odd that way. If the announcement was, "The part of Fox Mulder will now be played by John Doe," I would have been cool with it. As long as the recast is reasonable. Doesn't bother me.

The actors I am committed to I will happily check out on their new ventures, but character and actor don't need to stay fused for me to continue to enjoy the work.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

My day today:

talked to sister on phone, eaten breakfast, hung out on the computer, sat on couch, gone back to bed, eaten lunch, hung out on computer. I think I will return to bed.

I suck. I made me and Emily stuffed potato skins for lunch. Now, they're frozen (and one of our favorite snacks). All I have to do is stick them in the oven and let them cook long enough. Apparently I couldn't do that today. I thought they were done, but they weren't. I ate them anyway, even though they were still a little cold. Emily was waiting to eat hers, and I kind of hoped she waited long enough so she wouldn't know if it was 'cause they weren't cooked long enough or if she let them sit too long. Well, she noticed and kind of gave me a funny look. I was like, "Are they cold?" "Yeah. Were yours?" "Yeah. I ate them anyway. I was hoping you wouldn't notice."

She thinks this is very funny. I mean, it is, but damn. I can't even cook pre-made stuffed potato skins right! My kitchen skills are going out the window!

Totally unrelated, I think I figured out why I'm having such a hard time motivating myself to do anything. All of the things I want to be working on today aren't due right away. So, I really don't *have* to do them. It'll just make my life a lot easier if I do them now. My brain is a strange, strange place.

You are merely mastering the fine art of procrastination. Keep up the good work.

ION, I just found out a friend of mine is now living in England. She wants me to come visit. I would like to go, but a severe shortage of funds is hampering me. Perhaps this summer. I am all atwitter.

I'd say I've mastered it pretty well.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

I'm right there with you. I thought I was going to do my taxes, but I need a different form than the one that was sent in the mail. So, I got online and started printing the forms I needed, but the black ink in my printer ran out. Right now I'm too lazy and crampy to change into something besides my pajamas and go get more ink. I could also clean the living room and kitchen, but I'm not motivated enough to do that either.

I'd say we should start a club, but I've got too much fic to read to take the time.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I'd say we should start a club

Ah, maybe later.

My work plans have been backburnered for more important things. I made Cindy an icon and now I'm going to go take a nap. This seems like a brilliant plan to me. It may not seem so smart later, but that's later, and I'll be busy with the club by then.

Our wings are not tired.

My day today:

up at 7am and walked dog
worked for a couple hours on work related writing
watched CBS Sunday Morning
while folding laundry
and eating breakfast
made feeble attempt to clean house until

Visited with fellow car pool mom who advised me that she and her husband of 15 years had separated last November. This is a woman I see every single school day. I had no idea they even had problems. We see both parents at soccer and he drove the kids last week. I had no clue he had moved out. She hadn't said anything because she was devastated. Sounds like middle aged crazies and everything he is unhappy about in life is her fault.

This shook me because DH also just turned 40 and we are married 15 years. I talked to Brendon about it and he was equally shocked. He made all the appropriate reassurances that he wasn't like that and if he had issues I would know.

Still, that kind of blew my momentum.
