The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was in my bathrobe, but now I'm in a towel. I'm not sure if that is progess or not.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Bathrobe? Wow, that is a step beyond me - I'm just in sweats and an old t-shirt. I have a ton of homework to do today....anyone seen my motivation?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I love the cute Kara stories!

Mm, banana pancakes. We just had apple almond muffins. They were delish!

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I'm wearing a shortie nightgown and a pair of shorts. I may change the nightgown for a shirt before I start cooking. Probably.

I'm still in jammies. And I just finished making breakfast: toasted french baguette with herbed brie and a bowl of fresh fruit (canteloupe, strawberries, grapes and kiwi.) I've got coffee. I'm set for the day. I'll get out of the pjs when the daughter gets here.

Hi, lexine! Loved the A's story, you big fangurl, you.

Mmmm...pancakes. Maybe I'll make some of those when Emily gets up. I technically had breakfast already, but what's a little more food?

I too love the Kara stories.

Deena, do you think you'd have time later today or tomorrow morning to look at a couple of pieces of writing?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Cashmere, did you leave, yet? How's Owen?

Plans have shifted a little. Owen's great. But he gave me his stomach bug. I woke up and promptly threw up. I can't keep anything down at this point so we're reevaluating. DH is trying to catch up on a little sleep.

I feel horrible because we're missing his mother's birthday lunch right this minute.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sigh. I was in the kitchen getting myself a bowl of cereal when Ozzie the cat started whining at me piteously. I didn't know what he wanted, so I ignored him, so he followed me into the living room.

Turns out what he wanted was to jump in my lap.

Ozzie the cat is now trying to figure out how to get cereal milk off the top of his head.

eta: Ugh, Cashmere. I hope you feel better soon.

{{Cashmere}} Bummer. The perils of parenthood are numberless.

Lee, you need another cat. One to jump in your lap and another one to clean the first one when it gets milk on its head. More efficient use of the milk, at least.
