Nora, I love your schmoopy love, so there.

Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Count me in with the schmoop lovin'.
Robin, I love your tag.
Nora, I'm thirding the love of your schmoop.
Embrace the schmoop!
I think all y'alls is just too damn productive. You're making me feel like the supremo slacker. All I have on my agenda is helping my daughter move her TV into the spare bedroom.
Now, what was I doing? Oh, making coffee. That's about the most important thing I'll do today.

Hey, we ALL need days like that! Embrace the slackerness!
shmoop is good.
slacking is good.
I need to get in the shower so I can help DH.
schmooop-poop. I'm so not feeling the Valentines vibe at all.
I thought about retyping my baseball fangirl experience from yesterday as posted in my lj, but am lazy - so here is how my yesterday went.....
OMG - I am so happy. Today was A's fanfest. I had volunteered to staff a Red Cross Blood Services table, promoting blood donations. The event started at 10, but we had to get there at 8:30 to set-up. No problem. K-bug and I got there early and found that our table was in a funky room at the back of the stadium. It did not bode well for foot traffic and we were making plans on putting in our 2 hours and then ditching to go wander the rest of the place. That lasted until we realized we were smack in the middle of the players entrance. YES!!!! I got to talk with Eric Byrnes, Justin Duchscherer, Nick Swisher, Ron Washington to name a few. Even had them sign my scorebook (I keep score at the games and that is what I typically have them sign during the season). I was such a fangirl. We even saw Ricky Henderson come in, but were not able to get his autograph.
So, at noon, when our "shift" was over, we walked around the stadium, bumped into Mark Ellis and Keith Ginter, collected more autographs. While we didn't have to, we went back down to our table at the end of the day...it was now 3pm...and got more autographs, including Eric Chavez, Barry Zito, Dan Johnson, Bobby Crosby, Ken Macha...I know there is more. I'm still so excited I can't think. The big ones though were from some of the old players who had come into town. We got Dave Stewart, and Ricky Henderson (on his way out). My daughter's first baseball games were spent sitting in the outfield cheering for Ricky - she is still bouncing around cause he touched her. My biggest thrill of the day was getting to talk with Terry Steinbach and getting his autograph. He was one of my big favorites back in the day.
I am SO ready for the season to start. I am floating on air. Insert prolonged fangirl SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE here!!!
Ok, will try to breathe..in with the good air...Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
Oh, I almost forgot to include that I got A HUG FROM BARRY ZITO!!!! Sorry about the ASSCAPS, but it was THAT good!!! He is such a sweetheart. So cute.
K-Bug got a hug too...but I think she was more excited by having Ricky Henderson touch her...yes, a 14 year old girl was more excited about a should-be-retired player touching her than one of the biggest heartthrobs in baseball. I love my girl.
Hmmm...I have a cd I've never opened. I wonder if it's worthwhile. I guess I'll find out here in a moment.
squee! Lexine!
If I get out of my bathrobe today, I'd be surprised.
Lexine, that sounds like an awesome day!

I'm in my sweatpants, if that counts.
