Yay for Daniel's nephew and everyone that loves him!
Come/good~ma for meara. (That sounds dirty, but not how I meant it.)
Within the last year I've been contacted by five people that googled/Yahoo white paged me. Two were exes and three were old friends. I'm still speaking to one of them. I can't say that I recommend re-visiting the past. Nope. No way.
ION ~ I get to see Perkins tomorrow!!!
And I get to see Nicole. Yay Me!
I'm not looking up anyone.
Because I'm sure I'm the loser, not them.
Yeah, if your Google only returns Bizarro World results.
I would not fully discount this.
However, I believe it was stroking you're giving, not conspiracy theories, so thanks ever so.
beth, that was a great story.
Daniel, I am so glad your nephew is coming home.
Timelies, everyone. Is it April yet, Kristin?
Oh Raquel, health to your b-i-l.
eta...Aren't you due any minute? I have to go back and find that post where I noted the due dates.
Timelies...
No, Cindy....sigh. Including today, sadly we still have 14 days left in Month of Spite and All Things Evil.
Longest. Month. Of. The. Year.
ETA: I randomly googled the boy who gave me one my very first real kissses and found out he was one of the master carpenters on the Avenue Q set and still acts off Broadway from time to time. Kind of cool, actually, even though I haven't seen him in more than a decade.
Timelies - gorgeous day here, low 70s, sunny, birds singing, stray dogs fighting each other and human pedestrians for mating rights.
I spent my day walking around the Plaka looking for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs translation office. Finally found it down a scary alley full of scaffolding and pools of sewage. Looked like two guys should've been having a sledgehammer fight in there. I went into the alley, and there was one building that wasn't boarded up or covered with graffiti. This turned out to be the MFA. Inside was a series of twisty little passages, all alike. Large signs on the walls listed which floor to go to for each language, but only listed them in Greek. Still, English had it's own whole floor to itself...where no employees actually spoke English.
Still, mission accomplished, I think. We'll see next week when I go back to pick up the translated document (my marriage cert so that I can get a birth certificate for the baby) how well it went.
And it's a three-day weekend, as Independence Day is celebrated on Monday, so yippee!
Glad your neph made it home, Daniel!
Hey Cindy! I'm in week 38 (and how does 40 weeks equal 9 months? Lying bastards...), and no sign of impending delivery, although the kid is head down. Looks like we're going the full 40.
Last time my husband googled anyone it was because a mutual acquaintance e-mailed and said "Dude, google X. See what he's been doing since graduation." Turns out X was the Deputy Director of the brand-new Department of Homeland Security at that point. Since X was the only one in their group that wasn't a raging liberal, this was more a moment for "Figures. Dick." than for "look how successful he is" but still didn't make me want to google anyone.
