Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I didn't go to the dentist for about 12 years due to lack of dental insurance. When I finally went, the damage was minor.

So the moral is: Don't go to the dentist.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I really did mean to make an appointment a few months ago! It just, err... slipped my mind during the few weeks I had when I was off bedrest and still in the dental zone. (I'd been told that dentists won't work on you third trimester, so I didn't bother when I hit that point.)

I mean, at first I was waiting because my dentist had a family crisis and had to go out of town (I should explain that my parents know him socially), and then it was Christmas, and then...

You may now be getting the picture as to why I haven't been to see the dentist in a few years.

Punishingly Intricate

among its many clinics is one specifically serving patients with dentist phobias

My best friend has one of those. The last time she went to the dentist (after having not gone for 5 or so years) they had to break her cleaning into two separate appointments. She's never gone back for the 2nd 1/2 of her cleaning. After 3 years.

I wonder how these clinics deal with the phobia.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Aimee, you could *so* carry off both of those.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I wonder how these clinics deal with the phobia.

Drugs.

Seriously. There's a clinic in Milwaukee that will put you under for even routine care if you're that freaked out.

Aimee, the second cut is much nicer. The first one's a little too Nashville.

I kinda like the second one better, but the first one is appealing to my funky side.
