It's kind of sad, looking at Look at Me, to think of all the digital photos that aren't going to be preserved.

Spike's Bitches 22: You've got Angel breath
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
We took the classes, and I prepared for a natural delivery, but made an agreement with myself that I could change my mind.
This is my thinking. One of the reasons I picked the doula is did was because she was completely okay with encouraging me to go for a natural birth and then taking the epi or whatever if I felt I needed it.
Joe seems pretty freaked out about the whole birth process. I sent him a book thinking the information would make him feel more in control (that's what would work for me) but I think it had the opposite effect. So, I've told him all he needs to do is stand by my head and be supportive.
It's funny how it worked out - if he was here, I would have high expectations for him to be my "birth coach." It seems that his deployment has worked to his benefit, in this one area, because now I get the support I want and he can play the role he wants.
Joe may surprise you, Stephanie. DH was worried about how well he could handle seeing me in pain, but he was terrific through the whole thing, really hands on.
SAN FRANCISCO - A judge ruled Monday that California can no longer justify limiting marriage to a man and a woman, a legal milestone that if upheld on appeal would pave the way for the nation's most populous state to follow Massachusetts in allowing same-sex couples to wed.
In an opinion that had been awaited because of San Francisco's historical role as a gay rights battleground, San Francisco County Superior Court Judge Richard Kramer said that withholding marriage licenses from gays and lesbians is unconstitutional.
Joe may surprise you, Stephanie.
I really hope so. I must say that I have been a little bit hurt by his reaction. After all, I'm the one actually doing the work.
Having said that, my husband is the only man I have known who almost always give me what I need, including emotionally. I suspect he will rise to the occasion. Also, he's so tired and overworked at the moment that I just sort of accept that our communication is not 100% right now.

Go team Superior Court Judge Kramer! Fuck yeah!
I have krav jealousy.
And Miracleborn envy (oh! I'll be there weekend after next though.) and JZ envy. I am shocked that Hec calmed Ollie. It's unpossible.
I just spent nearly four hours on car repairish things. Total outlay of cash $0. Thank fuck for AAA, free flat repair at the place I bought my tires, some dealie where you pay once and they do alignments for several years when you need them (Yes, there is a word for this. But I have lost my words it seems. At least that one.) and finally (best of all since it wasn't their fault at *all* it turns out) an auto body place that got my rear window to finally roll up that final bit and seal again.
High heels are off and ice is on the sprained toe and sore front part of my foot. Swearing has been brought into play again. Cats might not speak but I suspect they've figured out what, "Bugger!" means.
The power of naaaaaaaaap is calling. I am trying to resist its siren lure.
Burrell, I am still amused by your tag everytime I see it. How are Frannie and baby bro beanie (I am making up a new nickname that I suspect will only be making this one appearence) doing?
Go team Superior Court Judge Kramer! Fuck yeah! What JZ said.

Go us! Though, this would be a lot more important if this decision came down in Alabama. Still, I got no complaints about being on the vanguard of essential civil rights decisions.
Alabama doesn't allow vibrators, they're not going to be first in this battle.
Blargh. Not good day. Didn't sleep much last night (was really warm for some reason), didn't make it to work, realized when the bus came (to take me to tutoring) that I had left my bus pass, money, and sunglasses at home. Thought I was being lazy in calling in to work but may actually legitimately be sick.
Did I say blargh yet? On the other hand, go Cali! Um, is that how you spell it in that usage? When I was young, I used to think LL was saying, "I'm going back to Kally," so I've never been quite sure.
